it was raining..part III
Eight long years..how cud he remember me? not his fault I guess! “tea?”, he asked.....I looked towards him and then towards the shop, a small boy of 13-14 was sitting there… “hmmm..” I said and we stood up…. “Oh god..!! how wud I carry this bag..” I thought…..I dint even know where that boy at the shop appeared from, forget about the porter…!! “don’t worry, I’ll..” he was still gud at reading me, I smiled….. “thanks”… A few mins later we were sitting on a bench near the shop sipping our tea.. I watched him, carefully this time…..he had changed a lot…from an alluring next door guy to a handsome looking young man, though his manner was still boyish, yet his voice had a mature and well-bred accent now..!!! Every time our eyes met, he smiled and I kept wondering all this while, has he actually not recognized me..??...may be not, even I had changed a lot…..!!!... Nevertheless, we were as gud as strangers now…..but the memories…wat about them…?...cud they ever become strangers to me..?? We were together in college…a clumsy, boring and stupid girl, and an absolute charmer he was…!!.... I still don know, even then how come we were such gud frnds..!! he used to share all with me, smiles, tears, success, failures, crushes...Everything…!! and then my scholarship happened…!! I remember his last words till date, “u wont forget me na..?” …the train started moving and 'his' hand slipped from mine slowly…and I… I cud say nothing, though I wanted to shout… I wanted to shout n tell him “ I love you Adi..…I....love u....!!" … …..!!!!! to be cont… (photo courtesy: photobucket.com)

Live-in Relationship....hmmmmm...!!
we 'guess' every1 of u have heard this term at some point of ur lives and we are 'sure' that u have had given it a thought at least once....is it possible..? is it ok..? should i try it..? and many such things must have occured to ur mind at that time..!! well, its really not 'in' in our country as of now but yes, quite an interesting topic to discuss...isn't it..? Now, there are a lot of concepts like emotional security, sex lyfe, commitment, finances, kids, family, society etc associated with it....we'll not go into all of them...!! But there is one point which really struck us...we feel that Live-in is absolutely fine, if and only if, the two persons involved are 101% prepared for surviving its 'FAILURE'..!! difference in opinions and habits is part n parcel of every relationship and so are the itches like getting bored, irritated, tired and so on...human nature u know...!! In an institution like marriage, there are a lot of factors around, which encourage a person to adjust and compromise.....however, in a Live-in, even the slightest misunderstanding might provoke either or both of the partners to escape, there is always an option to start afresh..... but the point is, are u, in every way ( emotionally, financially, sexually ), strong enuff to start afresh, and if yes, then how many times swthrt...??....perfection never exists u see....!!! though we dont mind if u can convince Shahrukh for a Live-in ;-) jokes apart, this is jus one aspect....wats ur stand..? share it with us and we'll compile the best comments in a special post on our blog...!! :-) (photo courtesy: photobucket.com)

beauty comes first...!!!
do u often feel that slowly n gradually that freshness of ur skin is shading off...?? that smoothness of ur hair is dying away...?? and the figure..!! gosh, u don even wanna think abt it..!! do u..?? well, we understand ur world darling...and so are dedicating this section to "ur" beauty which is much more than jus an expensive make-up, a designer outfit or size-zero...!! isn't it...?? we here are not promising to turn u into J.Lo or Aish overnight (who knows u might as well... ;-)...), remember, "rome wasn't built in a day..!!" we'll here offer u a tip every now n then (skin or hair care, yoga, exercise n lots more..) jus to make sure that ur better half doesn't always n only end up saying, "nice food...that's a sexy top...wow, new curtains" ...blah, blah, blah..!!............ but instead doesn't get tired of complimenting "you"...( hey gorgeous, wanna go for a ride..?..).... less make him realise that u r worth more than jus a cook or housemaid...!! so here's the first dose.. MILK..... oh come on, cant u think beyond that baby milk bottle ever..?? .....and wat it has to do with ur beauty nyway....!!.... we here mean "raw or unboiled milk", its a natural bleaching agent for ur skin...so every morning, be4 takin bath, jus scrub ur face, neck n arms with cotton dipped in it ( u might also add a bit of facewash to it for a fragrant feel ) .... strawberry dip...!!! All right gals… here we come again with another hot s** bite... Hope you enjoyed the last one…!! Well, how many time does it happen that you feel he is not giving you enough time…always coming late from the office...and u really want him to come back home soon...(we understand baby....) So wat u gotta do is when u really want him to come back little early (he is busy…as usual)... ...Just pick up the phone… call him and say this in a whisper... " hey! Do u know what am I wearing …??" Give him few seconds to understand wats happening and then say, "waiting for you sweetheart..!!" What do you think…he is gonna be late today…lets see!!! (Give him the worth of his time if he comes early baby….coz tomorrow u might want to take him to shopping if he comes early…)

Yes, it was still raining hard..and as I sat beside him, cudn’t help myself stealing a glance at him sideways..he was tossing his ball on the ground, hmmm, was gud at it, must have been a gud sportsperson or sorts….!! Suddenly he stopped and asked, “wats the time by your watch..?”... Oh, I was taken aback as if caught red handed…!! “unnn…its quarter past ten..” “hmmm...still 2 hours to go..” he smiled.. “ya”, I smiled back…Gosh, those dimples..!! “Hi, my name is Aditya. I am the basketball coach at the university here, and you..?”…he stretched his hand… Something from the past flashed in my mind..what was I supposed to do..? I was completely blank for a moment..just cudn’t make out anything..!! ..oh yes, shake hands of course..!! “Rishita, I’m an architect. I am the in charge of the Presidency’s renovation project here..” “okkk, the hotel, right..?” I nodded and he smiled again.. 5 musts during interview We know, you feel that you are the best thing that can ever happen to a company and we know you are right...but to prove yourself ...you gotta remember few things before that crucial interview.....so read on... Comfortable attire: No matter how much you love your halter neck top or that li’l spaghetti (which everyone thinks looks great on you...)but they certainly are not for the interview, also if u cant carry a saree that’s not a safe bet either…the idea is to go with your instinct and wear something smart, sensible and comfortable. Walk straight: As they say first impression is indeed the last. Make sure you walk straight with your head high and shoulder straight…u should know its not your morning walk isn’t it… Sit confidently: This doesn’t mean a tankful of Attitude girl ( though in moderation its good) but we mean don’t slouch or hang sideways( u don’t wanna show u r not interested otherwise what the hell u r there for) and no sitting on the edge as well (this is not the last job on earth and you are not going to die if you won’t get this…) Smile: but don’t overdo it. You might have a better smile than Mona Lisa but this is not a good place to show it off. Keep a smiling face and smile whenever needed ( we also dint mean a sulking face baby) just remember you are not there for close up auditions…right.. Hands: People do all kind of things with their hands except for what it is required. Please don’t fold them ( it seriously shows u in a defensive mode) just let them loosely lie on your lap or place them on the armrest of the chair… sometimes you might want to support whatever you say with hand gestures… And last but not the least… Eye contact: Look the interviewer in the eye while answering the question…but don’t make the poor guy conscious …”there is a difference between looking in the eye and staring” babes… (photo courtesy: photobucket.com)

QUICKIES... So the dinner is ready and guests are expected any time…and u realize the salt is little more than what u intended it to be….no u don’t need to take the guests out or throw everything in garbage… !! ....here is a sure shot fix for such disasters…. make 5-6 balls of the dough and put them in the dish…dough will soak the extra salt…and u’d be able to save your face, just make sure you take them out before serving...!!! it was raining hard..Part I
it was raining hard that night....around 10 o' clock.....i have always travelled alone, i like to be on my own... a small tea shop at a short distance, i cud see the owner nowhere..... no sign of life on the platform except for a lill dog cuddled up under a bench, and of course, me, trying to cope up with the 4 hours long delay, huh....railways i tell you..!! strange enuff, a deserted platform, lights were all gone and so were the people, quite a rare sight u bet....!! i stretched my hand to have a feel of the rain and drops drenched my arm.....as i was trying to enjoy the weather, the light flashed with a thunderous roar.....Startled, i drew my arm back....and then SUDDENLY..... 'he' was all wet, carrying a huge sports bag on his shoulder and a basketball in his hands, or a football...... or..watever.....he glanced at his watch and then at the platform..... our eyes 'met' and i knew that this wasn't going to be that bad a night....!! he was, wat do we say, tall dark handsome.....!! as he started walking towards me, i shifted my eyes off him....conscious, excited, confused, cud already feel the butterflies in my stomach..!! "excuse me"... did i hear anything?? is he talkin to me?? .. i looked towards him, trying to sound normal i said, "yes?".. "may i".. "sure".. i removed my handbag and he sat..i started looking in the opposite direction..his voice, wat shud i say, mesmerising enuff to cast spell on stones, or may be it was jus the ambience...... to be cont...
